Simply Sauteed Artichoke Hearts


Two 8 oz packages of frozen artichoke hearts
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
5 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 Tbsp parsley, chopped

To save time, consider using a pre-chopped garlic, such as this Polaner’s chopped premium white garlic, and a freeze dried parsley, such as this aroma sealed Litehouse parsley.


Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and parsley and stir for 45 seconds.  Add artichokes and stir to coat.

Cover the skillet and simmer approximately 12 minutes, until the artichokes are tender.  Uncover and simmer, stirring occasionally, an additional 3 minutes.  Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Note: for a different flavor, try adding in the juice of half a lemon once done simmering.
